Schedule:
The schedule of the project was from Sept. 2022 to June 2023.

The design of the deployment system will be completed and finalized by December 30th, 2022. The design stage was based off 12 analyses that were completed through the first week of October through the last week of November.
To stay on schedule all parts for the rockets deployment system were ordered by December to ensure construction could be started as soon as possible. The construction of the project will be completed by February 10th to ensure all proper testing will be completed by the launch date. During and after the testing of the deployment system the device evaluations were completed to ensure the device will complete it intended purpose.
All parts of the deployment system were attached to the rocket by April 2nd, this gave enough time to have the rocket completed as a whole by April 15th, the NASA Student Launch launch date.

Budget & Schedule
Budget:
The budget of the project was announced 11/01/2022. The budget must cover all expenses for the project's duration, June 2023.
​
The project's budget is $600, which includes all purchased parts, materials for parts, and any outsourcing required. Student Labor was not included in the budget.
The parts that were purchased include a spring and two latches. Materials obtained for the project were epoxy and polycarbonate to create the supports, outer shaft, inner shaft, payload mount, counterweight mounts, and the counterweight. The outsourcing of the project includes any machining done. To help stay within budget students completed all possible machining possible and only outsourced when absolutely necessary.
The first order of parts was completed 11/04/2022. All further expenses were from replacing parts and purchasing new parts from design changes.
